How to Personalise Your Message for Big Brother
A copied message is fine, but a personal touch makes it memorable. Three quick edits turn any wish below into something only you could send to your big brother:
- Swap in their name or pet name — replace generic openers with what you actually call them.
- Add a specific memory — one line about something only you two share lifts the whole message.
- Match the tone you usually use — keep it short and playful, or long and reflective, depending on how you normally talk.
When to Send a New Month Message to Your Big Brother
The sweet spot is the first few hours of day one. Most people send theirs:
- Just after midnight — be the first to greet them.
- First thing in the morning — between 6 and 9 a.m. local time.
- End of day on the 1st — fine if you missed the morning, still counts.
If you forgot, day 2 still works — just open with "Slightly late, but…" instead of pretending it's day one.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I send a happy new month message to my big brother?
Send it within the first 24 hours of the new month — ideally just after midnight or first thing in the morning on the 1st. If you miss day one, day two still counts; just acknowledge you're slightly late.
What's a good short happy new month message for Big Brother?
A good short message is one to two sentences, names what you appreciate, and ends with a wish. Example: "Happy new month, big brother — wishing you a month full of small wins and big joy. I love you."
Can I personalise and send these messages via WhatsApp?
Yes. Every message on this page has a Copy button and a WhatsApp button. Copy lets you tweak the wording first; WhatsApp opens your chat list so you can pick the recipient and send.
Are these new month messages free to use?
Yes — copy, edit, and share any message on this page. No attribution required.
What makes a great new month message for big brother?
Three things: it's specific to your relationship, it focuses on them (not on you), and it ends with a clear wish or blessing for the month ahead. The 23 messages on this page all follow that pattern.
Can I use these messages every month?
Yes. The wording is intentionally evergreen — none of the messages reference a specific month by name, so you can send them at the start of any month.
Should I send a message or a prayer?
Both work. If your big brother is religious, a prayer-style message lands warmly. If not, lead with a heartfelt wish and skip the spiritual phrasing. The Spiritual section above gives you prayer options.
